Ted Roman joined William Grant & Sons in April 2008 bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to his position as a results-oriented sales and marketing executive. He has a proven track record over 25 years of developing high performance organizations across the industry.

Since joining William Grant & Sons, Ted has built a highly capable organization and re-structured the Sales Team to strengthen the relationships and way of working with its strategic distributor partners. Ted was also instrumental in the integration of Stolichnaya into the company’s portfolio of super-premium spirits. Today, William Grant is the fastest growing spirits company in the United States market.

Prior, Ted held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales at Pernod Ricard USA. While there he led the successful integration of the Allied Domecq business doubling their U.S. business to more than $1.4 billion in sales revenue. He developed and implemented distribution and sales strategies on the Pernod Ricard USA portfolio resulting in record breaking performances of key brands such as Jameson, The Glenlivet, and Stolichnaya. He introduced brand performance standards throughout the sales, marketing, distributor and broker organizations and led sales initiatives resulting in the company being one of the top performers in the U.S. spirits marketplace.

Previously Ted was the Vice President of Sales for Heublein (now Diageo), having worked in a variety of senior sales roles across the USA.

Ted currently lives in Connecticut with his wife Laura and has two children, Sarah and Kyle. He is a member of Keepers of the Quaich, is a travel enthusiast and enjoys playing golf. Ted holds a degree in Mathematics from Trinity College, Hartford, CT.
